F.S. Catanico Water Falls

Hello friend the next time you go to Cagayan De Oro City you have to visit F.S. Catanico water falls. This place is so beautiful and concealed by huge boulders,the rapids, cascading falls and natural pool. its only 20 minutes away from the city by car. Catanico water falls is very relaxing, the fresh breeze from the big trees can make your day perfect.

The surrounding area is very impressive as it still retains much of its natural environment, my parents told me that until now the place is still pretty much the same. They said that the area near the falls was developed by the City government and my uncle is the care taker he also collect a 2pesos per person for entrance fee.

You can also rent a picnic huts, basic toilet facility is provided. You can also climb up to the viewing area on the top of a huge boulder to see the water fall . We use to bring food there and cook using charcoal. However if you go there make sure to bring your refreshments and foods, for us the best part is when we cook eat and swim. Catanico water falls just let me know my whole family live there and my father is a Baranggay councilor and we can provide you with a transportation to go there for a very reasonable price. I miss rock climbing with my friends, We climb to the rock and after we get to the top we jump to the water it was really fun.
